La seconda edizione di Art-Shake alla Galleria Civica di Arte Contemporanea di Termoli riconferma il carattere innovativo del binomio tra locale e sperimentale, che sembra caratterizzare il nuovo panorama culturale italiano, costruito su network come MySpace e YouTube, i quali che entrano a pieno diritto a far parte di un sistema ormai multimediale dell’arte.
Nell’arco di una settimana Emanuela de Notariis , curatrice e artista lei stessa, ha riunito ventuno artisti, quattro performance musicali, due rassegne video e due giovani scrittori in un contenitore che si propone di avvicinare un pubblico variegato a forme sperimentali, come il workshop di fumetti condotto dai Superamici ( Maicol e Mirco, Tuono Pettinato, Dr. Pira, Ratigher ) o la performance dei Lapingra, un progetto musicale nato nel 2007 tra elettronica, pop, infantilismo e musica low-fi. Fumetti, pop-surrealismo e post-graffitismo sembrano essere le parole chiave, e linee guidelines, a curatorial project that looks to Europe without going through the magazines of contemporary art, but rather by those "industry" (comics, graffiti, décor, customizing, music), witnessing the fervor of new research that expressive , forming independently, they begin at last to be caught also by galleries and museums.
Art-Shake shows an interest of new generations for the classic technique. They range from collage 108 , whose works are still on the walls of Berlin, London, Paris and Milan, but in 2004 it also "exposed" to Nusign, the first grande mostra sul post-graffitismo europeo; alle acqueforti di Tommaso Gorla , che immaginano la violenza delle “bande di periferia” tra alberi scheletrici e paesaggi desolati in cui si muovono uomini-cervo.
Nelle immagini di Kafre , invece, confluiscono studi sull’arte e sulla mistica medioevali, le illustrazioni alchemiche e i bestiari, in un lavoro che guarda al magico e al misticismo. Moira Ricci rielabora l’immaginario cinematografico attraverso un lavoro fotografico dal tono diaristico intitolato Se il ‘The end’ fosse stato tragico io sarei stata più abituata a soffrire per le delusioni d’amore.
Una giovanissima Belgian artist, Nora Noah Wuytack, works on neo-goth, shaping Bambi figurines that are sure to strip graze, surrounded by white rabbits with red eyes. The collective Ferrara Amae Salome presents the video, in which distance and telephone lines are supplied by the habit of a man who is preparing to be precisely Salomé, through a process of distortion of the relationship between bodies and goods.
